Resignation of Chief Executive Officer

Universe Group PLC (UNG.L) today announces that with effect from 30th June 2011 Paul Cooper is leaving the Company in order to pursue other interests. 

Paul resigned from his position as Chief Executive Officer and Director on 11th May 2011 and will be working with the Board to assist in the process of appointing a replacement CEO and effecting an orderly transition.
